Milan, Napoli, and Fiorentina Chasing After Verona Star

While discussing the acquisition of Filippo Terracciano, Milan have shown interest in another Verona player, Cyril Ngonge, who might depart as his team needs cash to mend their finances. Fiorentina are also after the winger, Alfredo Pedullà informs.

The Rossoneri could loan out Luka Romero, who hasn’t played much so far. He’s wanted by Cesc Fabregas’ Como in Serie B. The Scaligeri demand €10/12M for their top attacker. The Viola have tendered €8M in their opening offer.

Milan like Ngonge but have yet to decide whether to invest in a role where they have a few options already. Christian Pulisic has been terrific so far. Their other summer signings Samuel Chukwueze and Noah Okafor haven’t been as consistent, also because of a few injuries. Fiorentina are more depleted in the role. They have also inquired with Tottenham about Bryan Gil, Gianluca Di Marzio informs.

The 23-year-old has kept up the good work despite his side’s rough campaign and a seesawing role in the first few rounds. He has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists in 18 appearances.

Napoli gathered some intel on him as well and seem the most convinced among his current suitors, Sky informs. His potential arrival isn’t tied to Matteo Politano, as his extension talks will intensify soon.

Our Take on Milan and Ngonge

The Rossoneri don’t really need another winger, but it wouldn’t be the worst thing to grab a talent for relatively cheap given nowadays’ price tags. It’s not surprising that a few teams are in on him.
