Milan Not Done Making Moves to Shore Up Their Midfield

Milan have already replenished their midfield by signing Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tijjani Reijnders, but there could be at least one more signing on the horizon as they continue to track Yunus Musah and Nicolas Dominguez.

According to TuttoSport, there’s a significant difference between their offer, €13/15M, and Valencia’s request, €25M, concerning the American talent. The Rossoneri will make further attempts before moving on to different targets.

Milan are prioritizing Musah over Dominguez at the moment. However, a double swoop can’t be completely ruled out depending on the terms of the acquisitions. The Rossoneri have already spent more than what they cashed in for Sandro Tonali considering their several offensive moves as well.

The Argentine has a year left on his contract with Bologna. He’ll extend it if he stays put, but he’ll pursue a move to a big team first. Roma and Fiorentina are reportedly keen too.

Our Take on Milan, Musah, and Dominguez

Onboarding another piece is paramount if they want to use 4-3-3, although Tommaso Pobega is a much better fit and should get more minutes than in the past. The Felsinei staple has played better in a two-man midfield. Instead, the Valencia prodigy can star all over the pitch and can still be molded.
