Milan Overtake Inter and Napoli as Bookie Favorites for Scudetto Triumph

With the Serie A season entering its final stage, the Scudetto table is as volatile as ever. However, Inter’s recent slip-ups have warranted an opportunity for city rivals Milan to lead the way at the top of league standings, ahead of second-placed Napoli.

Although the third-placed Nerazzurri have an extra game in hand in contrast to the top two teams, bookmakers and sportsbooks are backing away from the black and blue side of the Milan divide and are now banking on the Rossoneri to win the Serie A title – the club’s first in over a decade.

According to Gibraltar-based sports betting experts 888.it (via FCInterNews), Italian bookies are favoring Milan with decimal odds of ≈2.0 against Inter’s ≈3.0. Napoli might be sandwiched between the Milan duo in the table, but are firmly behind Inter, according to bookmakers (≈4.0).

The Partenopei however, definitely cannot yet be ruled out of the title race, as they seek their first Scudetto since 1989/90 during the glory days of Diego Maradona. Their recent 2-1 comeback against Udinese has leased them new life in the title race. The Naples outfit possess variable odds, alongside Inter, but it is Milan who are now leading the race among the top-three contenders for the championship.

Juventus on the other hand, have managed to close down on eternal rivals Inter, hanging around just a point behind them, despite the Nerazzurri possessing an extra game in hand. They lag way behind the trio with ≈9.0 decimal odds.
