Latest information by Calciomercato indicate that the reigning Italian champions are fond of bringing in 26-year-old midfielder to San Siro. Loftus-Cheek put in a remarkable midfield display in the Champions League encounter against the Rossoneri, neutralizing the likes of Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer with splendid adroitness.
It was reported last month that the Milan hierarchy – Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini – were immediately drawn to the prospect of signing the Chelsea youth product having lost Franck Kessie in the same position.

Loftus-Cheek was promoted to the Chelsea first team by now Roma coach Jose Mourinho, and has since not looked back, progressing season after season in terms of skill. His Blues contract expires in the summer of 2024, with the English outfit yet to put forward a renewal deal for the versatile midfielder.
He has spent two seasons away from his boyhood club, on loan transfers to Crystal Palace and Fulham respectively. A permanent move for Loftus-Cheek, especially with a heavyweight such as Milan interested, cannot be ruled out, perhaps in the upcoming transfer window.
