Milan still look active on the transfer front as Ricky Massara is already eyeing Brest playmaker Romain Faivre but is now also reported to have an eye on a promising teenager in the third tier of Italian football.
Cesena’s 17-year-old midfield prodigy Tommaso Berti, who is already a starter at the club, has only just begun his professional playing career in August this year. According to Calciomercato, Milan were already keen on getting him in the recently concluded summer transfer, offering their 20-year-old Primavera striker Riccardo Tonin in return to Cesena on loan.
However, Berti was decided to be kept at the club for another season since the management was already convinced of his skills and talent. He is a natural defensive midfielder capable of playing various roles in the center of the pitch, including but not limited to being a box-to-box midfielder or as a mezzala in a trio.
Alongside Milan, Sassuolo are also keeping close tabs on the Italian prodigy. He has already made 9 appearances this season, registering one assist in the process.
