Adli, Milan, Bordeaux

Milan Reignite Talks with Bordeaux to Sign Young Talent

Milan continue to be one of the busiest sides in Serie A. Even though they are operating on multiple tables, they have not lost track of Yacine Adli. They would like to buy him regardless of other possible additions in the midfield. The young Frenchman can feature either as a pivot or as a no.10.

The bigwigs met with his agents at the Milan HQ today. The Rossoneri need to up their offers if they want to convince Bordeaux to sell him. The two clubs have had frequent contacts in recent days to try coming to terms, Sky Sport reports.

While directors Frederic Massara and Paulo Maldini like the player a lot, they want to acquire him only under the right conditions. Milan have put €10M on the table for the 21-year-old, while Bordeaux are asking for €15M. They are no longer cash-strapped as when the negotiation first started since they sold Toma Basic to Lazio. Milan believe his price tag will come down by €2/3M in the final days of the window. The youngster is eager to join them.

The Rossoneri already agreed to personal terms with the player. They have prepared a five-year contract, and he would make €1.5M per year. He would not be the only newcomer in the role since the return of Tiemoué Bakayoko is imminent. Milan held another summit with his agents to iron out the final details, Gianluca Di Marzio informs. They also touched base with Chelsea. Afterward, Tommaso Pobega will transfer to Torino on loan.
