Milan Remain Keen on Signing Chelsea Outcast Zyiech

Despite the Rossonerri failing to sign a right midfielder during the summer transfer window, Milan are preparing to make another attempt within the near future as the Milanese club remains keen on signing the Chelsea outcast Hakim Ziyech.

Prior to the season commencing, the Moroccan international has always been one of Milan’s primary targets in order to increase the quality they possess along the flanks. Despite the deal not occurring over the summer, it seems like the acquisition has resurfaced due to the current circumstances within Pioli’s squad.

According to reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Rossonerri have rekindled their interest in signing the 29 year-old following the long-term ligament injury of Belgian winger Alexis Saelemaekers, which was suffered over the weekend in their 3-1 victory against Empoli.

So far this season, Zyiech has struggled to impress within the London Blues as he only made two Premier League appearances. As a result, Milan are earmarking the situation as they are eager in potentially pouncing on the technically-strong winger when the transfer window reopens in January.
