Milan Reportedly Keen on Former Tottenham Attacker

Milan have added Arnaut Danjuma to their wish list to round out their attack. He’d be significantly easier to sign than his Villarreal teammate Samuel Chukwueze. However, they face competition, as Feyenoord and Everton are pursuing him as well, Calciomercato informs.

The 26-year-old returned to Spain following a six-month loan spell at Tottenham, where he scored twice in 12 appearances. He can feature in multiple offensive positions.

Milan could bring in Danjuma with the same formula as the Spurs, likely inserting an option to buy. They are in touch with his agents, and he’s expected to make a decision soon. The coaches of their two rivals have been trying to lure him.

The attacker played at NEC Nijmegen, Club Brugge, and Bournemouth before making it to the big stages in 2021/2022 when he joined Villarreal and proceeded to bag 16 goals and provide 4 assists in 34 appearances. He contributed to eliminating Atalanta and Juventus from the Champions League that year.

Our Take on Milan and Danjuma

He’s probably not big enough to deputize Olivier Giroud, but he can play centrally in a pinch, other than on the wings. He didn’t pan out in the Premier League, but he’s a proven contributor and would at worst be a great super-sub.
