Milan Reportedly Keeping Tabs on Six Center-Forwards

After zeroing in on Joshua Zirkzee in the early stages of the transfer window, Milan have gone back to the drawing board in their pursuit of a new no.9. The Rossoneri will soon meet with the camp of Romelu Lukaku, but he’s not the only option into their crosshairs, Sky informs.

The Italian side has touched base with Ermedin Demirovic and Augsburg. His valuation is €25/30M, but it could decrease to €18M plus add-ons  while negotiating He scored 15 goals last season.

Instead, Milan would have to shell out €40M to sign Artem Dovbyk, pretty much the same figure as for Zirkzee minus the commissions. He was La Liga’s pichichi as he hit the net 24 times in 2023/2024. He’s different from the Bologna ace since he’s a more standard goal poacher.

The Rossoneri also have Armando Broja and Memphis Depay in their shortlist. Chelsea request a sizeable offer for the former even though he hasn’t produced much in recent campaigns. Instead, the Dutchman will leave Atletico Madrid on a free.

The Serie A giants have been linked a few times to Serhou Guirassy, who has a €17.5M. Borussia Dortmund are leading the race to capture him, but he might wait for a Premier League side to swoop, Corriere dello Sport informed (via CalcioNews24).

Our Take on Milan Seeking a Center-Forward

It wouldn’t look great if they pivoted away from Zirkzee, but they don’t necessarily need to sign him specifically for their summer to be a success. Still, they’ll have to land somebody already accomplished and still young-ish to bounce back.
