Milan Risk Losing Primavera Talent on a Free Transfer

Milan are on the verge of losing one of their best Primavera talent, 18-year-old Youns El Hilali, who has been a shining star in the youth team this season. The Italian-Moroccan is closing in on an expiring contract and the Rossoneri management are yet to tie to him to an extension.

As per Tuttomercatoweb, Milan’s inability to hold on to El Hilali would mean losing him on a free transfer since his contract expires in June. No agreement has been reached over a renewal, but it cannot be entirely ruled out since there’s not a lot of transfer talk surrounding the youngster.

The U19 forward joined the Primavera team on a permanent deal in 2020, having come though the club’s youth ranks in the last handful of years. It is rumored that Stefano Pioli has one eye on promoting El Hilali to the first team, following his appearances in first team friendlies in Dubai against Arsenal and Liverpool.

The coming weeks will be decisive in knowing whether Milan will opt to offer him an extension, a first-team deal or a way out of the club.
