Milan Seal the Deal for Two Returns, Reject Eintracht Offer for Youngster

Milan have managed to keep two of their own, as Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz will remain with the team next season. The two youngsters were on loan from Brescia and Real Madrid in the past campaign. The Rossoneri negotiated at length with both sides, but they have finally come to terms. The duo should be present for the start of the pre-season camp on July 8th.

Milan got a considerable discount from Brescia for Tonali. Last year, he joined on a €10M loan that included a €15M option to buy and €10M possible add-ons. The 21-year-old had his ups and downs in 2020/2021, and the management asked to re-discuss the deal. After extended talks, the sides agreed on a €7M fee, plus €3M add-ons, and the youngster Giacomo Olzer, valued €3M, Gianluca Di Marzio reports. The midfielder accepted a slight pay cut to re-join, La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates.

Diaz has started training in Madrid, but he should move to Milan soon as well. He will return on a €3M season-long loan with a €22M option to buy. The Merengues will have a €27M buy-back clause, which they can activate only by June 2022, Calciomercato.com informs.

While two young players are coming back, Jens-Petter Hauge could be on his way out. However, Milan rejected an initial €8M offer from Eintracht Frankfurt as they are looking for at least €12M. The German club communicated that they consider the price tag too high. It remains to be seen whether they will raise their bid, Sky Sport reports.
