Milan Set Sights on Ligue 1 Talent, Admired by Maldini

Milan are in the midst of an active transfer window after the confirmed departures of Jens Petter Hauge, Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu. They have already signed Oliver Giroud, Brahim Diaz, Sandro Tonali, Fikayo Tomori – among other players.

However, Paolo Maldini and the management aren’t satisfied, with one more attacking signing poised to happen before the closure of the summer transfer window.

According to reports from French outlet L’Equipe, the Rossoneri are keen to get their hands on Bordeaux talent Yacine Adli. The highly-rated midfielder has been one of Ligue 1’s happening stars in recent seasons due to his tactical understanding, versatility and flexible style of play. Reportedly, Milan have already bid an initial offer of €10-12m are negotiations are in the beginning stages.

The 21-year-old has a transfer market value of €9m, according to transfermarkt. He is said to be admired by Maldini, but Bordeaux’s intention of adding a percentage of future resale in the transfer clause can put off the Rossoneri.
