Milan are accelerating efforts to onboard a midfielder in their ranks, especially with the most recent injury to Rade Krunic. Raphael Onyedika is the club’s number one target at the moment, but another name has emerged, this time from Belgium.
Charles De Ketelaere might not be the only Belgian to arrive at San Siro this season, as the Rossoneri have sights set upon midfield prodigy Aster Vranckx from Wolfsburg, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The 19-year-old central midfielder was named Belgium’s second best talent during the 2020 Belgian First Division season, behind De Ketelaeare. Milan have recognized the midfielder’s talent, shortlisting him as a potential transfer target.
Vranckx is being followed by Everton and Lille, among other clubs, following reports of his dissatisfaction at the lack of game time at Wolfsburg.
He has 2 goals in 29 appearances for the Germans, before which he was at boyhood club Mechelen, where he amassed 5 goals and 4 assists in 47 appearances between 2019 and 2021.
Milan are aiming at a loan deal with an option to buy, but all is speculation at the moment.
