However, there’s an overall opinion that Leao’s future lies in the Premier League. He has less than two years left on his current contract at Milan. But those at the top of the Rossoneri hierarchy are working around the clock to tie him down to a new long-term deal. Negotiations have been underway for quite a while now.

Though Leao was quick to address the rumors by committing his future to Milan, he refused to rule out the possibility of switching to the Premier League. Since the Portuguese youngster has yet to sign the papers, those hoping to take him away from Serie A are allowed to dream big.
In the meantime, Milan boss Stefano Pioli has recently urged Leao to stick with Milan amid transfer rumors. Aware of the forward’s significance to his set-up, the Italian manager is desperate to have the player stay put at the San Siro. It’s now entirely up to him to decide what he wants to do next.
