Milan Star Open to Staying for Entirety of His Career

Theo Hernandez has occasionally landed on the radar of the biggest clubs in the world, but the talks never gained much traction, and he’s not in any rush to leave Milan. On the contrary, he’s looking to stay put long term, as his agent Manuel Garcia Quilon told SerieANews.com.

“His performances don’t need comments. He’s been playing at stellar levels for five years. He has scored more than 20 goals, provided over 25 assists, and participated in half of the offensive plays of his team. On top of that, he uses his physical prowess defensively. He has become one of the top left-backs in the world, maybe the best one.”

The representative said that Hernandez was completely comfortable at Milan.

“Every player has a team where he finds his proper habitat and identity. He identified himself with this club and received affection from director Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara, the whole environment and the fans. It was a perfect combination to develop the great career he’s putting together.”

“He was a crucial element for their return to winning ways after a decade, and they leaned a lot of youngsters. Sandro Tonali, Fikayo Tomori, Ismael Bennacer, and Rafael Leao are all talented. It’s the perfect situation to improve. He grew a lot in San Siro, and he’s very content with the city and the side. If it keeps getting better as he is, I wouldn’t rule out him staying for good. You never know what could happen in football, but he couldn’t be happier and more grateful.”
