Milan Table Concrete Offer for Metz Talent Mikautadze

The list of strikers in Milan’s crosshair keeps growing, as the Rossoneri management have reportedly identified Metz forward Georges Mikautadze to arrive in the summer.

As per the latest reports from Footmercato, Milan have already put forth an offer in the hopes of signing the youngster before other contenders. 22-year-old Mikautadze has emerged in the spotlight following an impressive season in the French second division, bagging 24 goals and 8 assists in 36 appearances for the club across all competitions.

The Rossoneri are preparing for life after summer when strikers Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Divock Origi are expected to leave alongside loanee attacker Brahim Diaz. An offer worth €10M has been tabled by directors Ricky Massara and Paolo Maldini, with the latter even speaking personally to the player regarding his future. In the event that Milan sign him, there is a good chance he will be loaned back to the French outfit ahead of their return to Ligue 1.

Newly promoted Premier League side Burnley are also contenders to sign Mikautadze, but the lure of Milan might prove hard to reject. One thing is for sure for the Georgia international: he is set to play a starring role at a top-tier club next season.
