In addition to Milan’s interest in Bordeaux playmaker Yacine Adli, Sampdoria winger Antonio Candreva has emerged as a new target – according to the Genoa edition of La Repubblica, as per Calciomercato. The veteran has been in the sights of two Serie A clubs – Fiorentina and Milan.
In the event of Samu Castillejo’s potential transfer to Getafe, Milan are reportedly wishing to eye a backup and 34-year-old Candreva has emerged as an apt target. The former Italy international does not wish to be let go by Il Doria but a potential move to the Rossoneri will be hard to turn down.
He has a market value of €2.5m, according to transfermarkt. The former Nerazzurri winger garnered 35 appearances for Sampdoria last season, slotting in 5 goals and making 8 assists in Serie A as his club finished 9th in the league.
It looks like Milan are not yet done in the summer transfer window and another player may be on the verge of joining the club.
