Their search took some odd and underwhelming detours, and none weirder than Romelu Lukaku, but either would be a great choice. The latter is a purer no.9 and would be more prolific, while the Bologna ace is younger, meshes well with their other attackers, and has the advantage of being familiar with Serie A. Unless the demands of his entourage are absurd, the negotiation seems too advanced to fall through now.
