Milan Transfer Market Derby Brewing for Stuttgart Revelation

A Milan transfer market derby is brewing for Stuttgart center-forward Serhou Guirassy, with both clubs taking active steps to mark their territory in the negotiation process. With 16 goals and 2 assists for Die Schwaben in 10 appearances this season, the former Rennes and Lille striker has been turning heads left and right across Europe.

While Milan have already made an effort to sign the Arles-born forward, Inter are reportedly accelerating efforts in the transfer race, with Nerazzurri scouts watching him twice over the last month in the German top flight.

However, as per transfer market expert Nicolò Schira, the Rossoneri are already one step ahead, with chief scout Geoffrey Moncada most recently in the stands to watch him play against Borussia Dortmund. Guirassy impressively scored the game-winner with an 83rd-minute penalty to seal all three points against Die Borussen.

Despite having a contract that expires only in the summer of 2026, Guirassy has a €16M release clause in his contract that allows him to leave the club as early as the 2024 January winter transfer window for a discounted price.

There are also reports of interest from the Premier League in the 27-year-old striker, who is in the form of his life. Fiorentina’s name has also been mentioned as suitors for Guirassy.
