Milan Trying to Orchestrate Blockbuster Deal for Three Chelsea Players

Milan are operating on multiple international tables to add quality pieces to their squad. On top of Olivier Giroud, two more Chelsea players fit their needs: Hakim Ziyech and Tiemoué Bakayoko. However, the Blues are looking to monetize their potential sales adequately, Sky Sport reports.

The Rossoneri have long come to terms with the French striker on a two-year deal with €3.5M annual salary. They are waiting for his agents to convince the English club to release him despite being under contract for one more year. Milan are confident it will happen, especially if they expanded the operation to other players.

Ziyech is their top choice to replace Hakan Calhanoglu, but he would not be cheap at this stage. He moved to London for €40M last summer. Despite his success at Ajax, he could not fully establish himself as a centerpiece under Frank Lampard and Thomas Tuchel. Milan are mulling multiple options to fill the void. They are willing to be patient for the Moroccan attacker as his price tag could go down later in the summer.

Tiemoué Bakayoko is back at Stamford Bridge after a decent season at Napoli. The Pensioners would rather let him go on a permanent transfer after three consecutive loans. However, he would not be particularly expensive since his contract is up in 2022. He already played at Milan in 2018/2019, amassing 42 appearances. He would replace Soualiho Meite, who returned to Torino, providing depth behind Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer.
