Milan Want a Young Striker, Ahead of Juventus in Race for Santos Starlet

Milan are not done adding to the front-line and will try to bring in a third striker to join Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Frenchman will land in Italy today and will complete the transfer shortly, Paolo Maldini announced. The director stated during the ceremony for the release of the new schedule: “We could also sign a young forward.”

The most likely option at this stage is Kaio Jorge, Calciomercato.com reports. Milan are leading the race over Juventus and Napoli. The 19-year-old striker has been offered to few Italian clubs because his contract expires at the end of the year. However, the Rossoneri are working to sign him right away.

Santos have asked for €10M to sell him. The conspicuous commissions requested by his agents could be an issue, though. Other European clubs are keeping tabs on the Brazilian starlet, but Milan are optimistic, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs. Kaio Jorge has bagged 15 goals in 75 matches with Santos.

The Rossoneri should soon welcome an even younger player. The agents of 17-year-old winger Warren Bondo visited their headquarters yesterday. The parties have reached an agreement on his contract, and now the front office will open talks with Nancy. He could join for a €1M fee plus add-ons and will start in the Primavera team, MilanNews reports.

Milan are chasing after Nikola Vlasic, but CSKA Moscow are playing hardball and rejected their first offer. It consisted of a €5M initial loan with €20M option to buy and €4M add-ons. The Russian side disagrees with the formula, as they want €30M on the nail, Carlo Pellegatti informed.
