Milan Want an Italian Wingback to Deputize Theo Hernandez

Milan are seeking a left-back addition to the team to act as Theo Hernandez’s deputy, with Fode Ballo-Toure set to leave the Rossoneri at the end of the season. The aforementioned are the only two pure left wingbacks the club possess at the moment, making it imperative to search for another.

As per Calciomercato, the Milan management have shortlisted four names to arrive at San Siro come summer. However, there is a catch – the Rossoneri want an Italian player in particular to fill the position.

Empoli’s Fabiano Parisi is a part of the candidate list, but his asking price of €15M is deemed to be high by Milan. Whereas, the hierarchy is not entirely convinced with the abilities of Emanuele Valeri and Antonino Gallo, from Cremonese and Lecce respectively.

Lastly, it is Monza’s Carlos Augusto who appears in the crosshairs of Milan. It is a transfer that appears unlikely – the versatile Brazilian, who is also known to operate as a center-back, is understood to be a key Biancorossi player.
