Milan Want Rich Sums for Their Outcasts, Keep Haggling

Milan want to part ways with several players but won’t give them away, especially those who would have a decent role if they stayed. Ismael Bennacer and Yacine Adli are for sale, but not at a discounted price, La Gazzetta dello Sport informs.

The Algerian talisman has a few suitors in Saudi Arabia. At this stage, the Rossoneri would let him go only if a team activated his €30M release clause. Al-Shabab are after the French youngster. He has a €15/20M price tag, but the prospective buyers must convince him.

The tug-of-war between Milan and Monaco for Youssouf Fofana continues. The Italian side plans to spend at most €20M on the midfielder. They are waiting for a formal answer from the French side. They haven’t pivoted toward other players at this stage, but they have identified solid alternatives, like Betis’ Johnny Cardoso and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Manu Koné. Their valuations aren’t much lower, though.

Instead, Udinese have asked for €25M for Lazar Samardzic. The talks haven’t progressed even though the talent wants the move. The Rossoneri aim to spend at most €15/20M and will play the waiting game to see if the Friulani blink.

Per TuttoSport, his arrival isn’t necessarily a matter of money but rather of tactical choices. Paulo Fonseca could decide to use two strikers more often if they signed Tammy Abraham or deploy Christian Pulisic as a no.10 given Samuel Chukwueze’s strong preseason.

According to Corriere dello Sport (via OneFootball), Milan intend to bid farewell to Divock Origi, Fodé Ballo-Touré, and Luka Jovic, while the future of Malick Thiaw, Alexis Saelemaekers, Tommaso Pobega, and Filippo Terracciano hangs in the balance.
