Milan have been attached to several names to bolster their defense in January, but they have reportedly reduced the pool to just a pair of options, at least for the time being. The easiest one would be the return of Matteo Gabbia from Villarreal, where he’s spending the season on loan. Instead, it’s more difficult to convince Arsenal to let go of Jakub Kiwior. They’ll chase him again in the summer if they fail to acquire him during the winter, Tuttomercatoweb informed.
Tullio Tinti, who represents the youngster, spoke to the publication.
“Gabbia is doing very well at Villarreal, and I think they’d be happy to keep him. Then, if the two teams speak with each other and there’s this possibility, I’ll relay it to the kid. I don’t intend to bother him with things that aren’t clear yet.”
The agent downplayed the impetus by Milan to sign a new defender.
