Milan Will Sign Yacine Adli from Bordeaux but There Is a Late Twist

After a lengthy negotiation, Milan have managed to reach an agreement with Bordeaux for Yacine Adli. However, the talented midfielder will not join the Rossoneri right away but will stay on loan at his current club till the rest of the season. The two sides came to terms on a €10M fee including add-ons, RMC Sport reports. He has already landed in Italy.

Milan had been negotiating for a few weeks to acquire the 21-year-old, but Les Girondins put up strong resistance. They will have to wait until 2022 to have him on the roster. It remains to be seen whether the Rossoneri will try to add somebody else in the midfield. They previously intended to bring in another player on top of Tiemoué Bakayoko. However, Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic more than held their own in the first two matches of the season. Adli, who is a PSG product, has appeared in 72 matches with Bordeaux, scoring 5 goals and dishing 8 assists.

Milan have sealed the deal for a second youngster. Chaka Traorè had medicals earlier today and will be a part of the Primavera team. The 16-year-old winger played in three Serie A matches with Parma in the past campaign.

The Rossoneri are hopeful on Roman Faivre, but Brest have not accepted their offer yet. According to Alfredo Pedullà, they inquired with Napoli about Adam Ounas. At this stage, the Partenopei plan to keep him and put an €18M price tag on him, plus bonuses. It is unlikely Milan will move forward with the deal at that price.
