Milan Winger Christian Pulisic Enjoying His Serie A Life

New Milan hero Christian Pulisic has talked about his life at San Siro, hailing his decision to swap Chelsea for Serie A this summer. Away on international duty with the United States, the lightning-fast forward spoke to the North American media about his remarkable start to life in Lombardy.

Pulisic parted company with Chelsea after an underwhelming four-year stint at Stamford Bridge to join Milan for a reported fee of €20 million in the summer. But not even the most optimistic Rossoneri fans could’ve hoped the USMNT captain would become such an influential figure on such short notice.

After firing in a rocket missile against Bologna on his Serie A debut, Pulisic marked his maiden Serie A appearance at San Siro with a deadlock-breaker in a 4-1 thumping of Torino the following weekend. Despite failing to extend his free-scoring start against Roma, the 24-year-old has quickly become a fan favorite at Milan.

Since he’ll return to Italy from international duty a bit late, there’s a chance Samuel Chukwueze could take his place in the starting lineup against Inter on September 16. For the moment, Pulisic’s mind is with the national team as he aims to replicate his impressive Milan form in the United States’ upcoming friendlies against Uzbekistan and Oman.

It’s been exciting for me with this new opportunity, new team, new league. It’s a fresh start, it was definitely the right time for me and I’m loving it right now,” Pulisic told the local media.

I’m definitely enjoying the game. I put in some good performances and I just have to keep it going, I’m really excited for the future there,” the Milan winger finished.
