Milan Zeroing In on Etikité to Round Out the Frontline

Milan gathered intel on several strikers to complete their attack, but their favorite is Hugo Etikité. Coming to terms with PSG won’t be easy, but the two clubs are in talks to potentially set up the deal.

Per Sky, the Rossoneri wish to onboard the striker on loan with an option to buy. Therefore, they wouldn’t be forced to keep him permanently if he didn’t show well. He’s likely to depart once PSG sign another marksman, but he has other determined suitors.

Etikité earns €3M per year, and Milan wish the Ligue 1 club would contribute to his wages if he joined. He has played eight minutes in the first two domestic matches of the season. He notched 4 goals and 4 assists in 33 appearances since coming in from Reims. West Ham are in the lead to capture him, though, Foot Mercato relays.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Mediaset), the prodigy might be inserted in the negotiation with Eintracht Frankfurt to lure Randal Kolo Muani. The Rossoneri have reached out to Porto again to ask for Mehdi Taremi, but his price tag remains high, around €15/20M.

Chelsea are leaning toward keeping Armando Broja, which possibly prompted Milan to step up their pursuit of Etiktité. They showed interest in Romelu Lukaku early in the summer, but there have been no contacts lately.
