Moise Kean Tipped to Depart Juventus Again in the Summer

Moise Kean has not had much success in his second stint at Juventus, and the arrival of Dusan Vlahovic does not help. He has played less than 700 minutes and has not fully exploited them, scoring just 3 goals. The Bianconeri signed him on a two-year loan from Everton after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.

His future could easily be tied to Alvaro Morata’s one. The front office will have to make the call on the Spaniard’s €35M option to buy. He could stay in Turin if they managed to decrease it in the negotiation with Atletico Madrid.

Instead, Juventus have a €28M conditioned obligation to buy out Kean in 2023. Some reports suggest that his acquisition is already permanent, and the formula only a gambit to delay the payment. According to Tuttosport, the Old Lady will look to loan him out next summer so he can get consistent playing time.

A return to PSG is also a possibility. The 21-year-old had his most productive season there, bagging 19 goals in 45 appearances in 2020-2021. The French club reportedly asked for Kean when Juventus inquired about Mauro Icardi in January. However, the transfer was technically impossible because he had already featured for two different teams.

Coach Massimiliano Allegri often talked up the young forward during press conferences. However, he has started just nine times thus far. He has not gotten the nod in over a month, also due to the fact that he had to serve a suspension in Coppa Italia.
