Montpellier Striker Discusses Lingering Links to Milan

Akor Adams has been mentioned as an option to shore up the Milan attack in January. He’s also reportedly on West Ham’s radar. He was quizzed about it by Tuttomercatoweb.

“To be honest, I haven’t really thought about it and don’t know anything. We’re in the middle of the season, and I’m focused on Montpellier. Playing in the Premier League is a dream for anybody.”

Adams would join his compatriot Samuel Chukwueze at Milan.

“It’s too early to speak on it, but he’s a very good player, and everybody knows the Rossoneri are one of the best clubs in the world, and so do I. But I’ve never been to Italy so far.”

Adams indicated his role model.

“My idol is Ronaldo Nazario. Nigeria is lucky to have a few great players in the top leagues such as Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface. We hope to do well with the national team too.”

According to Calciomercato, Milan inquired with Montpellier about Adams but the contacts weren’t fruitful. Per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via OneFootball), Serhou Guirassy currently tops their offensive wish list since he’s the easiest to sign among their targets thanks to his €17M release clause.

The Stuttgart marksman has surpassed Jonathan David in their preferences because he’s more affordable. The Lille ace is rounding into form, and his side wants €30/40M to sell. Several other clubs are enticed by the 27-year-old, though. The Rossoneri are moving early to beat out the competition.
