Monza Agree Loan Deal for Juventus Midfield Talent

Juventus are close to sending one of their most prized youngsters out on loan to Monza. Highly-rated talent Nicolo Rovella has been on the hunt for a new club, in order garner more playing minutes and fasten his development. After shortlisting him earlier, newly-promoted Monza have found an agreement with the Bianconeri, as per La Gazzetta dello Sport (via Tuttomercatoweb).

According to the report, Monza will sign him on a dry loan formula, which means it will not include an option or obligation to buy. As one of Italy’s brightest starlets, Rovella is also understood to have given the green light for the deal to materialize.

Having spent the last 18 months on loan at Genoa, Rovella arrived in Turin for the first time since signing for them back then. He was part of Max Allegri’s pre-season group, but has been conveyed the message that he would not feature regularly this season.

Rovella has also been liked in the past by Salernitana. He will have to wait for one more season before making his competitive debut for Juventus. The 20-year-old’s Bianconeri contract expires in June 2024.

He made 21 Serie A appearances for Genoa last season.
