Monza Chief Galliani Distances Himself from Juventus News

Monza CEO Adriano Galliani believes the revelations emerging out of Juventus should not be demonized. The Bianconeri board, including president Andrea Agnelli resigned due to reported financial mismanagement. The Italian Football Federation, FIGC, and even UEFA have opened proceedings probing into fair play infractions at the club.

Speaking at the Lega Serie A assembly held today, the ex-Milan chief revealed his unfamiliar stance regarding events that have unfolded in Turin.

“I don’t like commenting on facts I don’t know, except by reading them in the newspapers. However, this tendency to demonize is not good.” (via MilanNews)

The second Serie A assembly meeting has functioned in a rather serene manner relatively to the first that was held on November 22. It was reported that the one held earlier didn’t even materialize, given that several clubs actually ‘walked out’ in protest to arrangements. However, that is not the case this time around.
