Roma manager Jose Mourinho kept his promise and bought a new pair of boots for Felix Afena-Gyan who helped the team beat Genoa yesterday.
The 18-year-old came on as a substitute, replacing Eldor Shomurodov and scored both of the Giallorossi’s goals against Andriy Shevchenko’s side as they won 2-0.
After scoring his first goal, the Ghanaian attacker ran over to hug Mourinho and remind him of his promise to buy a new pair of boots. Mourinho did not forget that and he did get Afela-Gyan a wonderful pair of boots.

Afela-Gyan has been touted as one of Serie A’s finest young talents and having given a glimpse of it against Genoa, we could well expect to see more of him in the forthcoming months.
Roma are now fifth in the Serie A table with 22 points to their name so far. Their next league fixture is against Torino but before that, they face Zorya Luhansk.
