Multiple Top Clubs Eyeing Up Dynamic Empoli Fullback

Empoli managed to hold onto Fabiano Parisi in the summer despite some offers, and they will look to do the same in January. However, they may sell him early and keep him on loan until the end of the campaign if somebody meets their €10M valuation, Tuttomercatoweb informs.

The fullback extended his contract until 2025 in August, so the Azzurri are in a comfortable spot. His agent confirmed he wouldn’t leave until June. Still, his side will listen to the offers that would allow the 22-year-old to complete the season with them.

Fiorentina showed the most interest in Parisi in the previous window. They tried to orchestrate a swap with Szymon Zurkowski until deadline day. The clubs ultimately didn’t strike a deal, but the Viola remain keen. They pulled off the same operation with Verona last year, securing Sofyan Amrabat early.

Lazio and Inter are also keeping tabs on the defender. Though, the Nerazzurri would have an immediate need if they parted ways with Robin Gosens. Instead, the Biancocelesti need to sell somebody before onboarding another piece, and they could be more willing to wait. Juventus touched base too, but they recently acquired Andrea Cambiaso, who’s currently on loan at Bologna, in the same role. They are more interested in such a deal for goalie Guglielmo Vicario.

Our Take on Parisi

The youngster is well deserving to transfer to a big team, preferably one that plays with 3-5-2, although he’s been fine as a pure fullback in Tuscany. Inter would be a nice landing spot, and he’d alternate with Federico Dimarco. Instead, he would be a full-time starter at Lazio after completing his adaptation. His price tag is reasonably affordable.
