Despite making arguably the best moves last summer amongst all Serie A clubs, Napoli will continue targeting young talents at the end of the season. Udinese’s Lazar Samardzic is of great interest to the Partenopei, who have keenly followed him since his move to Udine from RB Leipzig in 2021.
As per TuttoUdinese (via TuttoNapoli), the Friuli will not hesitate to bank on the 21-year-old trequartista who has impressed in the northeast of Italy with his versatility.

Berlin-born Samardzic is on a five-year deal that expires in 2026, and Udinese expect to receive €40M for his services – similar to what they bagged from Atletico Madrid for Rodrigo De Paul.

Milan is also said to be interested, but the steep price for the youngster is bound to be a hiccup for interested suitors. Samardzic has been irreplaceable for Andrea Sottil’s side this season, garnering 28 appearances – missing just one match so far.
