Napoli and Inter are getting busy in the center-back market, as they will most likely have to make some moves at such position, and have been recently linked to Lens stalwart Kevin Danso. The Austrian international has a €20M price tag according to Foot Mercato.
The Azzurri took it one step further and had a meeting with his agent in Rome earlier this week, Tuttomercatoweb informs. The Scudetto winners are preparing plans in the event a Premier League side activates Kim Min-Jae’s release clause early in the next transfer market window.
Despite the interest coming from Napoli and Inter, Danso doesn’t appear in a rush to transfer, as he told the press (via Il Mattino).
“Nothing pushes me to leave at this moment. I’m in a very strong team, I’m comfortable here, along with my teammates and the staff. It’s not an issue to stay put at Lens.”
The 24-year-old has played every minute this season, scoring once. He was signed from Augsburg in August 2021 for €5.5M. His side is currently in second place. Should their star bolt, the rumored top target for the Partenopei would be Giorgio Scalvini. There have been some contacts between the parties to test the waters, the outlet relays.

The Atalanta prodigy has incredible potential and can still be molded, but he’s more apt for a three-man defense and, in terms of physicality, he’s nowhere near Koulibaly and Kim.
