After reinforcing their forward and midfield spots with the onboarding of upcoming stars such as Dusan Vlahovic and Manuel Locatelli, Juventus are keen on bolstering their defense. A new name has emerged on the market for not only the Bianconeri, but also Napoli.
According to reports from Germany (via Calciomercato), both Juventus and Napoli have set their sights on a highly-rated Bundesliga left-back. Stuttgart defender Borna Sosa has been a player high in demand not only in Germany, but also abroad. The 24-year-old is an attack-minded wingback with the ability to even play as a winger further up the field.
Other than Juventus, Napoli are also frontrunners for Sosa. The Partenopei have Mario Rui and Faouzi Ghoulam as the main players in the left-back position. However, they are both in their 30s and a young defender could certainly boost Luciano Spalletti’s side,
Sosa has a transfermarkt value of €20m and only recently extended his stay in the Bundesliga, back in November 2020.
The Dinamo Zagreb youth product moved to Germany in 2018 and has since appeared 75 times for Die Schwaben.
