Napoli have undoubtedly been the best team in Italy this season, cruising to take a 8 point lead at the summit of Serie A ahead of Milan with 41 points from 15 games, and still unbeaten. Two key components for the Partenopei‘s success have been attackers Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.
According to Il Mattino (via Tuttomercatoweb), Napoli have offers arriving in their coffers for the respective transfers of these two young hotshots, but club president Aurelio Di Laurentiis is more than satisfied to keep them put in his side irrespective of the transfer fees.
“Napoli locks its stars and does not need to realize capital gains as in the past for Cavani, Higuain, Jorginho and so on. At least until next summer, everything remains as it is,” reads out the report from the Italian newspaper
That puts to rest reports of Napoli’s interest in the January transfer window for any arrivals as well, as it seems very likely that the Partenopei will only make deals next summer.
