Napoli have taken not only Italy, but also Europe by storm this season. They sit well in contention for a first-ever UEFA Champions League title and a first European title since winning the UEFA Cup in 1988/89. A large stock of credit goes to attacking duo Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, both of who have combined to register 26 Serie A goals in total since the start of the season.

Only one other pair in the top-five European leagues have a better tally than the Partenopei couple – Manchester City’s Erling Haaland and Phil Foden, who have 32 goals between them. However, Haaland takes the cake with 25 goals alone in the Premier League this campaign in 21 games.
Combined, Osimhen and Kvaratskhelia have 29 goals and 18 assists across all competitions, numbers which make them arguably the deadliest pair in Europe at the moment. Osimhen is the leading to grab the Capocannoniere award as the league’s top scorer with 17 goals, whereas Kvaratskhelia leads the assists chart with 9 to his name.

The Partenopei sit well clear in Serie A – 15 points ahead of second placed Inter – enroute a first Scudetto title since the days of Diego Maradona 33 years ago. Meanwhile, they face Eintracht Frankfurt in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie.
