Napoli continue to search for a goalkeeper, and Costa Rica international Keylor Navas has emerged as a viable alternative to Chelsea outcast Kepa Arrizabalaga, according to Sky. The Spaniard remains their main target, but talks haven’t progressed as expected with the London outfit in the past week.
With Gianluigi Donnarumma already being considered for a starting role at Paris Saint-Germain, the veteran’s days seem numbered under new coach Christophe Galtier. The Partenopei want to take advantage of his uncertain situation in the French capital and bring him to the South of Italy.
Napoli haven’t made any advancements for Kepa and they’re now also looking at Keylor Navas from PSG ? https://t.co/16rqWjwNxq

Navas arrived in Paris on the back of winning a hattrick of Champions League trophies with Real Madrid. He has 106 appearances across three seasons so far, but has failed to etch himself as a starter within the Parisian ranks.
Napoli are aiming for a loan deal for Kepa, with the Blues reportedly willing to pay a majority of the Spanish shotstopper’s wage. Nevertheless, the Partenopei might find it easier to execute a permanent deal for Navas.

Our Take on Navas to Napoli
It certainly seems like Navas would be a better signing than Kepa for Napoli. This is mainly due to his wide experience and skillset that has enabled him to become one of Europe’s most celebrated goalkeepers in recent times. However, the Basque would be a more sensible investment, given he is 8 years younger than the ex-Real Madrid man.
