Napoli Nail Lobotka to Long-Term Contract Extension Deal

Napoli have officially locked up Stanislav Lobotka with a contract extension. The Slovakian has punched above his weight this season, etching himself as one of the most consistent players in not only Italy, but all of Europe, playing a key part in Luciano Spallett’s UEFA Champions League and Serie A charge.

In an official statement, the Partenopei announced Lobotka’s renewal, which will see him stay put until the summer of 2027 – with the option to extend for a further year.

“SSC Napoli announces that it has extended the contract for the sports performances of the player Stanislav Lobotka until 30 June 2027 with the Club’s option to extend it until 30 June 2028.” (via Calciomercato)

Real Madrid target Lobotka has started all but three matches under Spalletti this season across all competitions. He is one short of 100 appearances for Napoli since joining from Celta Vigo in January 2020, as the Partenopei prepare to take on Torino next.
