Napoli Not Expected to Make Any More Moves This Summer

After completing the Jesper Lindstrom deal, Napoli are unlikely to add new players in the two final days of the 2023 summer transfer market window. The future of Diego Demme still hangs in the balance, but he probably won’t be replaced if he left.

According to Il Mattino (via OneFootball), the remaining targets for the midfield are Giovanni Lo Celso and Sofyan Amrabat. There are no signals of activity coming from London. The Argentine could wind up staying put at Tottenham.

The Moroccan international is available at the right price, but it’s complicated to come to terms with Fiorentina. Only the possibility of a loan transfer leaves the door open for a late operation. Still, Napoli aren’t working on that front currently.

If they don’t spend more money, the Partenopei will have perfectly balanced their books this summer. They cashed in €50M from the sale of Kim Min-Jae and spent an equal amount to bring in Natan, Jen-Lys Cajuste, and Lindstrom. They also redeemed Giovanni Simeone, which was already in their plans from last season.

Napoli made two investments for the future, Walid Cheddira and Elia Caprile, acquiring them from their sister team Bari, which the De Laurentiis family also owns. The striker joined Frosinone on loan, while the goalie is manning the Empoli posts.
