Khvicha Kvaratskhelia gets routinely linked to top clubs, most recently Manchester City, but there’s nothing tangible on the table.

Napoli Offer Talismanic Forward Bumper New Deal – Figures Revealed

Napoli and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia have long been locked in contract extension talks with no resolution on the horizon. But the club hierarchy looks determined to reward their sought-after star with a bumper new deal.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport via Calciomercato, Napoli have offered Kvaratskhelia a new contract worth €5 million, excluding add-ons. Bonuses would reportedly take his salary to €6m. It would make him the joint-highest earner at the Diego Maradona Stadium alongside Romelu Lukaku.

There’s still plenty of time for Napoli to renew Kvaratskhelia’s contract. His current deal runs out in 2027, leaving the Partenopei with more than enough wriggle room. However, Aurelio De Laurentiis doesn’t want to take any chances by letting the situation linger.

Kvaratskhelia emerged as Paris Saint-Germain’s top target to replace Kylian Mbappe, who left France for Real Madrid. Napoli had to go to great lengths to fend off Les Parisiens’ interest and keep hold of their talismanic winger. Therefore, there’s a sense of urgency around De Laurentiis’ camp.

Antonio Conte’s arrival has brought the best out of Kvaratskhelia this season. The 23-year-old has tallied three goals and two assists across the opening seven Serie A rounds. In doing so, he won the ‘Player of the Month’ award in Italy’s top flight for September.

With their ace seemingly back to his best, this is an ideal moment for Napoli to put the pedal on the metal and close the agreement. After encountering issues with the Georgian winger’s renewal earlier this month, the Partenopei may feel more optimistic now.
