Napoli have been offered the chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo, as his agent Jorge Mendes continues to search for a club where he can play Champions League football. Manchester United finished sixth last season in the Premier League, qualifying for the Europa League – a competition the enigmatic forward is not used to starring in. ‘Mr. Champions League,’ as he is often referred to, risks being left of the premier club competition for the first time in decades.
As per Sky Sports, Mendes has proposed Ronaldo to the Partenopei and, in turn, is trying to force the Red Devils to buy long-linked Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. The Nigerian has been a Red Devils target for quite some time now. Luring him won’t certainly come cheap though, as Napoli want nothing less than a three-digit figure for their star striker.

With less than a week left before the summer transfer market window shuts close, it is difficult to see how a move can be executed between the two parties.
However, that is not the only proposal to come forward from Manchester. Milan and Ronaldo’s boyhood club Sporting CP have also been given the opportunity to onboard the all-time Champions League goalscorer.

The Rossoneri were reportedly asked to involve Rafael Leao in the deal for Ronaldo, but Milan are understood to have rejected the deal outright. Mendes also represents the young Portuguese winger.
