The coach wants to evaluate Alessandro Zanoli first. The youngster had a positive six-month stint at Sampdoria in the second half of last season. He stood out for his sprints down the wing despite his team’s relegation.
Faraoni will have to wait before learning whether he’ll join Napoli or not. Garcia stated that the talent was somebody he hoped to lean on in a recent presser.
The 22-year-old had played just 21 minutes before departing in January. He got more run in 2021/2022, recording 14 appearances. Instead, he logged two goals and two assists while on loan. The two Genoa teams and Celta Vigo would be interested in bringing him in if he was on the move again.

The big elephant in the room is Giovanni Di Lorenzo, who rarely ever rests, as the youngster needs and deserves to star with regularity. Perhaps they should consider selling Mario Rui and have him as the deputy on either flank, which could be an acceptable compromise. He clearly has more juice than the Verona stalwart.
