Napoli Reward Stanislav Lobotka with Contract Extension

Napoli defensive pinhead Stanislav Lobotka has signed a two year contract extension at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona. The Partenopei management has awarded the Slovakian for his performances on pitch with an improved contract deal that involves a salary hike.

His contract was initially set to expire in the summer of 2025, but the renewal now extends his stay until the summer of 2027, with the optional of an additional year added in the clause. The Napoli backroom has also offered him a raise, going from his salary of €2.5M net per season to €3M plus bonuses in the new agreement.

Tuttomercatoweb also reports of €2M in signing bonuses for the central midfielder.

Luciano Spalletti has relied heavily on Lobotka for his services, with the midfielder racking in more than 1,600 minutes in game time across his 20 matches this season for the club so far.

The coach is a big fan of the Slovak, having tried to sign him for Inter when he was at Celta de Vigo.
