The prospective swap between Victor Osimhen and Romelu Lukaku has quickly gone backward after the recent chatter. His agent came out to dismiss it, and the Blues might have preferred doing it on loan. Moreover, Aston Villa have started chasing after the former Roma ace.
According to Corriere dello Sport (via OneFootball), the Nigerian star isn’t particularly high on the destination. It’s not certain he’d accept it even if the two clubs struck a deal. Arsenal are keeping tabs but haven’t concretely come forward.
Instead, Osimhen would gladly join PSG, but the Ligue 1 giants are playing the waiting game. They believe Napoli will significantly lower their request late in the window.
