Napoli Take a Close Look at Three Club Brugge Players

Napoli watched the recent Europa Conference League fixtures between Fiorentina and Club Brugge with heightened attention as they are tracking three talents of the Belgian side. One of their scouts was spotted in the stands at the Artemio Franchi stadium a week ago, Tuttomercatoweb reported.

The Azzurri have shortlisted in particular Jorne Spileers, Ferran Jutglà, and Kyriani Sabbe. The first one is a 19-year-old defender who has broken through this campaign, appearing 43 times. He has risen through the ranks of the Belgian outfit. He has six caps with his U-21 national team and has been called up once by the senior one without debuting.

Jutglà joined from Barcelona in a €5M move two years ago. He has tallied 26 goals and 16 assists in 91 matches since. He previously starred mainly for the Catalans’ B side. Napoli might need to sign multiple strikers in the summer.

Finally, Sabbe has become a regular this campaign and can play on both defensive wings. He has featured 34 times since being promoted to the first team, hitting the net once and providing 5 assists. The 19-year-old fullback is under contract until 2026.

Our Take on Napoli Laying Eyes on Club Brugge

The Partenopei have so many needs, and it’ll be impossible to address them all with very established players. On the other hand, they’ll have to be careful about going too young especially in the defense. They have already paid the price for that this season.
