As per Corriere dello Sport (via TuttoNapoli), Cheddira is high on the wishlist of Napoli for a transfer in the upcoming winter window. The Partenopei plan to bring the striker on a permanent transfer, before loaning his back to the Serie B club until the end of the season.
Apart from Napoli, there is also lingering interest from Sampdoria, Torino and Sporting Lisbon. However, it is the league leaders who seem to have an upper hand in the transfer race for Cheddira.

The Italy-born Moroccan made his World Cup debut as an 82nd minute substitute in the Round of 16 tie against Spain, which the Atlas Lions went on to win on penalties before ousting Portugal in the quarter-finals. Morocco however failed to overcome France in the semi-finals and eventually lost to Croatia in the third-place play-off.
Cheddira has 14 goals and 5 assists in 15 appearances for Bari this season.
