With or without sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli, Napoli will make moves in the summer transfer market. The Partenopei will be looking to revamp the squad in a window expected to shower them with offers for their in-demand Scudetto winners. Atalanta midfielder Teun Koopmeiners is the latest name in line to arrive in Naples.
As per Corriere dello Sport, Koopmeiners is of great interest to the Napoli management, suggested by none other than Giuntoli himself. The versatile midfielder is greatly admired in Bergamo and has been anchoring their midfielder under Gian Piero Gasperini.
Atalanta, which have played their role as a feeder club of sorts, will need to receive large bids if Napoli wish to onboard the Dutchman. The left-footed midfield ace is currently valued at €30M, according to Transfermarkt. However, it is reported that La Dea will only entertain offers around the €40M mark. Koopmeiners will see his current contract expire in the summer of 2025.

Juventus and Liverpool also have strong interest in signing Koopmeiners. The former AZ Alkmaar maestro was poached from The Netherlands in 2021 for €14M and has since grown from strength to strength to become a fan favorite at the Gewiss Stadium.
