Inter humbled Fiorentina 4-0 at Giuseppe Meazza on Sunday evening as Simone Inzaghi’s new formidable attacking partnership demolished La Viola. Lautaro Martinez and Marcus Thuram picked Vincenzo Italiano’s side apart with an astonishing performance to keep Nerazzuri on par with Milan at the top of the Serie A table.
Thuram opened the scoring with his first-ever Inter goal, heading home Federico Dimarco’s inch-perfect cross in the 23rd minute to hand the home side a 1-0 lead at halftime. He set up the second goal, serving Martinez on a silver platter with one of the best first-time passes you’ll see in Serie A this season.

Thuram’s match-winning display helped Inter head into September’s international break as one of just two Serie A sides with a 100% record after three rounds, alongside Milan.
